Contract Specialist
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Location: Onsite at Corporate Office

Job Purpose: As the Contract Specialist, your job purpose will be to examine, review, and revise contracts with applicable Program leadership and their leadership contracts and agreements.
Job Functions
- Process vendor agreements in collaboration with Procurement Manager.
- Revises and processes grant contracts.
- Reviews and maintains the contract database, supporting grant compliance, manages university affiliation agreements, and MOUs/MOAs.
- Serves as a primary point of contact for universities and MOU/MOA partners.
- Conducting detailed compliance reviews with standardized vendor agreements, as well as grant-related contracts to ensure alignment with organizational policies and state/federal regulations and identifying and initiating processes to mitigate potential risks. Safeguards the organization from financial or legal exposure.
- Oversees the contract tracking tool to ensure accurate data entry and tracking of renewals, expirations, and deliverables performed by Contract Administrative Assistant.
- In addition, you will coordinate audit preparation and maintain evidence of compliance records to reduce risk of penalties and preserve funding streams.
- The role also facilitates academic partnership agreements by collecting required documentation, verifies compliance, and routing for timely execution, strengthening institutional relationships that support research, education, and community engagement.
- Most importantly, serves as the point of contact for routine inquiries, providing clear, timely updates on contract status and enhancing vendor satisfaction and trust through professional, responsive communication to team and leadership.
- All functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhering to all organizational policies and procedures. Contact Specialist will gain cross training in licensing and permitting to further support the Senior Contract and Licensing Manager.
Position qualifications: Ability to receive and maintain a(n)

- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver's license record in accordance with the under-writing guidelines set by Aspire's insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1
- High School diploma required
