Job Purpose: As the Data Intelligence Analyst, your job purpose will be to gather, analyze, and compile data needed to identify trends and patterns and then make recommendations for business actions.
Job Functions
- Summarize data reports for review by executives, management, and stakeholders.
- Compile Business Intelligence (BI) or trends to support actionable recommendations for management to make data-driven decisions.
- Execute BI projects within assigned budget and timelines.
- Coordinate with programs and departments to translate business requirements, identify reporting needs, defines the reporting requirements, designs the report, and writes the code required to deliver the coherent BI reports
- Gather business intelligence from various sources, including company data, industry and field reports, public information, or other internal company sources.
- Consolidate data from multiple data sources into meaningful reports.
- Prepare and maintain documentation and update reports as data system enhancements are implemented, or business rules evolve.
- Generate BI reports, dashboards, and data models with the help of BI tools and Microsoft Power Platform, etc.
- Perform research, identify, resolve BI report-related issues and provide results and findings to management.
- Use BI tools to analyze data for trends and patterns
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality, seamless customer service to internal and external staff and stakeholders.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry and business trends through communication with professional organizations, suppliers, customers, competitors, and other informed individuals.
- Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned.
- Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
Position qualifications: Ability to receive and maintain a(n)
- Level II Background clearance
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver's license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire's insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1
- Bachelors' Degree with additional certification and higher education preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Power Platform, or related software.
- Ability to collect and compile relevant data.
- Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
- Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically.
- Strong business analysis skills.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Thorough understanding of the company's business processes and the industry at large.
- Ability to handle databases and understand technology-driven business intelligence tools.
