Who You Are: You're a Driver/Behavioral Health Tech (BHT) looking for an opportunity to define your own career path, connect with a supportive community of health professionals like you, and increase your earning potential. You have a passion for working in different care settings and making a difference in lives.

What will you do? As a Driver/ BHT at Aspire Health Partners, your purpose will be to provide a variety of essential functions regarding the care of patients and safety of units.

These functions include:

  • Transporting clients curb-to-curb from their home to adult outpatient programs
  • Transporting clients home after discharge
  • Transporting clients that are being transferred to or from one inpatient facility to another
  • Providing urgent transportation to area emergency rooms for clients
  • Effectively assisting in de-escalation of clients that are in emotional crisis
  • Advising Transportation Supervisor or Transportation Manager of any unusual occurrences
  • Performing daily safety and vehicle checks
  • Assisting unit nursing staff while not driving
  • Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Possess a High School Diploma or GED
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (driver license check) in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1
  • Pass a Level II Background clearance
  • • Have a current active class C or higher driver’s license
