Pay Rate: $47,500 annual

Job Purpose: The Marketing and Communications Manager plays a strategic role in advancing the organization's mission by enhancing brand visibility, deepening community engagement, and driving business development initiatives.

Job Functions

  • This hybrid position blends creative marketing, strategic communications, and relationship-building to support fundraising, outreach, and program expansion.
  • The Marketing and Communications Manager oversees digital marketing efforts, social media strategy, event planning, and grant development, while also managing the organization's online presence across search engines and referral platforms.
  • The Marketing and Communications Manager will develop a deep understanding of program content to ensure accuracy, integrity, and quality in the development of all marketing materials and activities, and proposals.
  • The position role requires collaboration across departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and a consistent, mission-driven brand experience.
  • Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures.

Position qualifications: Ability to receive and maintain a(n)

  • Level II Background clearance.
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver's license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire's insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a Behavioral Health related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a combined marketing, social media, community relations, grants management or business development role.
  • Experience in a behavioral health related field preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher) and design platforms such as Canva. Comfortable navigating digital tools to support development of marketing materials, social media, reporting, and communications.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including public speaking and interpersonal engagement. Skilled in crafting compelling messaging for diverse audiences across multiple channels.
  • Digital Marketing & Social Media Expertise: Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and best practices. Proven track record managing social media platforms and campaigns using tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar. Proficient in web analytics and marketing software to track engagement, optimize performance, and inform strategy.
  • Event Planning & Execution: Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating, and executing events and activities from concept through completion. Able to manage logistics, timelines, vendor relationships, and post-event evaluation with attention to detail and creativity.
  • Creative Content Development: Ability to produce innovative, mission-aligned marketing materials, social media content, and promotional campaigns that reflect the organization's values and engage stakeholders.
  • Project Management & Adaptability: Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable shifting focus as needed and meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Collaborative and Independent Work Style: Effective working both independently and as part of a team. Able to collaborate across departments and levels of leadership to support integrated development and marketing initiatives.
