Job Purpose: As a Pharmacy Technician II at Aspire Health Partners, your job purpose is to provide a multitude of services to effectively carry out the daily functions of the pharmacy and associated programs. Under the direction and supervision of Pharmacy Manager and the Lead Pharmacy Technician, the Pharmacy Technician II must strive to perform all essential pharmacy technician functions at an exceptional level.

Job Functions

  • Providing exceptional customer service and responding appropriately to customer requests.
  • Outpatient and inpatient computer order-entry.
  • Contacting insurance companies and physicians’ offices on the client’s behalf.
  • Monitoring and correcting claims not adjudicated in the Workflow system.
  • Counting and labeling medications.
  • Packaging unit-dose medications.
  • Operating the Point-of-Sale system and inventory re-ordering and maintenance as assigned.
  • The Pharmacy Technician 2 will generate daily reports as assigned and prepare the pharmacy for the next business day activities.
  • Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhering to agency policies and procedures.

Position qualifications: Ability to receive and maintain a(n)

  • Must be licensed as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in Florida and license must be in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy.
  • Level II Background clearance
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver’s license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire’s insurance company.
