RECOVERY PEER SUPPORT SPECIALIST

As Peer Support Specialist at Aspire Health Partners, your job purpose will be to provide a multitude of essential functions regarding assistance of clients in a non-restrictive environment. These functions include - but are not limited to - providing individual, family and group coaching, monitoring individual client progress on a regular basis, completing all necessary documentation and records and communicating effectively verbally and in written format. Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver’s license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience as a consumer in community substance abuse treatment required; two-three years in recovery from personal substance addiction; certification as peer support preferred - certification is required within 1 year of hire.
